DAVID Worrall returned to his footballing roots by rejoining his first club, Bury, on loan for a month in August 2009, with the move then being extended to the following January 3.
He put pen to paper on a three-year professional deal in July 2007 after celebrating his 17th birthday.
Following an impressive pre-season, he made his competitive Baggies debut as a substitute in a 1-0 Carling Cup first-round win over Bournemouth in August 2007.
He did not make a further first-team appearance during the 2007/08 campaign but remains on the fringes of the squad as one of Albion's promising young stars.
In August 2008, Worrall joined League Two Accrington Stanley on a month's loan to gain first-team experience.
Worrall joined the Baggies from Bury in March 2007 for an initial £50,000 fee.
He arrived on scholarship terms after signing a pre-contract agreement.
