HODGKISS was rewarded with a new two-year deal in August 2007.
The promising defender committed his future to the club until June 2009, with a further year's option in the club's favour.
He remains on the fringes of Tony Mowbray's squad and during the 2007/08 season was resticted to eight first-team appearances, largely due to the impressive form of fellow right-back Carl Hoefkens.
Hodgkiss was signed up by Albion's then-Academy coach Craig Shakespeare in February 2003 following his release by Wolves as a schoolboy.
After being a consistent performer for the youth team, Hodgkiss established himself as a regular for Baggies reserves during 2005/06, even captaining the second string on occasion - a position he now holds on a permanent basis.
He signed pro forms in January 2006 and made an impressive full senior debut in Albion's FA Cup third-round defeat at Reading the same month.
The right-back, who likes to get forward, went on to make his league debut as a 63rd-minute substitute in Albion's 2-2 draw at Everton on the final day of the 2005/06 Premiership season.
