Diomansy Kamara
OUT OF AFRICA...Kamara makes instant return to Albion starting XI
KANU and Diomansy Kamara make an immediate return to
Albion's starting XI after missing the last five Barclays Premiership clashes through African Nations Cup duty.

Bryan Robson makes three changes in total as Paul Robinson returns from his one-game ban at left-back.

Neil Clement switches back to centre-half, while Thomas Gaardsoe, who misses out altogether, and substitute Junichi Inamoto are two of the men to make way.

Geoff Horsfield's move to Sheffield United leaves a vacant spot for Kanu to slot into and partner Kevin Campbell in attack.

Steve McClaren makes four changes to the side that beat Chelsea 3-0 last time out in the league.

James Morrison, Doriva, Stewart Downing and Fabio Rochemback have all failed to make Boro's final 16-man squad with George Boateng, Franck Queudrue, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lee Cattermole the men to replace them in the visitor's starting XI.

ALBION (4-4-2): Kuszczak; Albrechtsen, C Davies, Clement, Robinson; Kamara, Quashie, Wallwork, Greening; Kanu, Campbell. Subs: Kirkland (gk), Martinez, Kozak, Ellington, Inamoto.

BORO (3-5-2): Schwarzer; Riggott, Southgate, Queudrue; Pogatetz, Mendieta, Boateng, Cattermole, Parnaby; Hasselbaink, Yakubu. Subs: Jones (gk), Ehiogu, Viduka, A Davies, Maccarone.

REFEREE: M Dean (Wirrall).
