Roy: Players not getting carried away

Scharner ruled out of cup tie

ROY Hodgson has ruled Paul Scharner out of tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Norwich (ko 3pm).

But Jonas Olsson (calf) is available for selection and the Baggies boss revealed Steven Reid (ankle/knee) and Billy Jones (hamstring) are close to being in contention.

"Reid and Jones are both making very good progress and we'll make that decision," said Hodgson.

"Jonas Olsson is fit but Paul Scharner is not.

"He hasn't trained all week and is still nursing his Achilles.
