ISHMAEL Miller insists Albion should fear no-one at The Hawthorns as they prepare to entertain an in-form Preston side on Saturday (ko 3pm).
He has also urged the second-placed Baggies to hammer home their eight point advantage over their rivals in back-to-back home matches.
And Miller is relishing the task of taking on a 13th-placed North End outfit that is unbeaten in five games - but have not won on their travels since beating lowly Peterborough 1-0 at the end of January.
"We've just got to concentrate on ourselves because we know, if we put on a good performance, we are capable of beating any team in this league," said the giant hitman.
"Hopefully we can go out with the same sort of mindset we've shown in the last three games and come away with the three points.
"At home we should really be the ones to fear.
"We're not supposed to fear them, they're supposed to fear us, and if we go into that game with that mindset, hopefully we can get three points from it.
"No, we don't want to be just defending our position in the table.
"We're an attacking team and we have scored lots of goals from all over the squad.
"Defenders, strikers and midfielders have all scored so hopefully we can just play the way we play and not focus on anybody else because we've got a great chance of being in the Premier League next season."
Saturday's game will bring back fond memories for Miller who announced his arrival at Albion with an explosive strike as a substitute, on his debut for the club, in a 2-0 home win over the Lilywhites in August 2007.
And the former Manchester City young gun is hoping he can repeat that feat and build on his two goals in his last two games.
"I made my debut against Preston and scored a goal, so hopefully I can get another one," he added.
"That would be nice.
"Hopefully I can score another goal like that, but mostly we just want another three points because that would take us a little bit closer to the finish line.
"I did snatch at a few chances when I first came back from injury but it's all about getting into the swing of things.
"This is a hard league and it's so physical because there are so many games.
"I still felt stiff on Tuesday and we had a game - but I wanted to get on the pitch.
"I know I will get chances and it's just a matter of whether they go in or not.
"Luckily at the moment they're going in.
"Hopefully I can keep going and get to the destination that I feel my career is heading, and where my ability can take me."
