GRAHAM Dorrans says Albion are ready for tomorrow's huge challenge of trying to become only the third team to beat Swansea since September (ko 7.45pm).
The Scotland international, who has finished second to Newcastle's Kevin Nolan in the running for the FourFourTwo Coca-Cola Championship Player-of-the-Year Award, says confidence is high in the camp after his late penalty secured a fifth successive home win against Blackpool on Saturday.
That victory, coupled with fourth-placed Swansea's goalless draw with Sheffield Wednesday, has opened up a nine-point gap between the promotion rivals.
But Dorrans warns tomorrow's trip to the Liberty Stadium is as tough as they come, with high-flying Newcastle and Nottingham Forest - twice - the only teams to have defeated them in the last six months.
It promises to be an intriguing clash as the division's 71-goal top scorers travel to the league's 31-goal lowest scorers.
Dorrans said: "We'll rest up and prepare well for tomorrow.
"It's a tough place to go but hopefully we can go there and get a good result.
"A lot of teams have gone there and lost or dropped points so if we can go there and win the game it would be a great statement.
"Hopefully, we can do that - and we've certainly got the players to do it.
"We know it'll be a tough game but I'm sure we'll match them."
With promotion rivals Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and the Swans all failing to win on Saturday, Dorrans was delighted to keep his cool and convert Albion's late penalty winner - his 14th goal of an impressive season.
"It was a massive win," added the ex-Livingston ace.
"It was a tough game and afterwards we saw the other results went our way, so it was an important three points.
"We didn't know the other results at half-time, we only really look at them when we go in at the end, but it's a massive win for us.
"We now need to take it game by game - and we've got another tough game tomorrow."
Dorrans also hailed the impressive contribution of midfield sidekick Robert Koren in the last two games, with the Slovenia international posting goal-of-the-season contenders against Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool.
"'Roko' is such a great player," he added.
"He's captain of his country and deservedly so.
"He's a fantastic player who does that kind of thing in training every day.
"It's great to have him in the team.
"Hopefully, Roko can help us along with some of the other boys.
"We've got experienced people like Chris Brunt, who has been in and around these things, and Dean Kiely, in the squad.
"We've got a lot of experience as well as youth so hopefully we can gel together for a final push."
Top gun Dorrans is aiming to remain a regular on the scoresheet during the final ten games of the season.
But he says it doesn't matter who scores as long as the team bags a top-two berth.
"Hopefully, I can get some more goals but it's all about winning games in the final push so I'm not really bothered where the goals come from," added 'Dozza'.
"If I get them, or if Roko gets them from 30 yards, it doesn't really matter.
"I have seven penalties now but I don't really mind how they come as long as they hit the back of the net.
"On Saturday, I just kept my cool and placed it."
