Charlie Perry won his first England cap, featuring against Ireland at the Ulster Cricket Ground in Belfast in a Home International game.
Fellow Albion man Bob Roberts was in goal and didn't have a great deal to do as England won 9-1.
Perry had to wait a further 12 months for a second cap in spite of the win. England also won that one, 6-1 against Ireland at Molineux but it was a further two years before Perry played his third and final international, a 6-0 win over Wales at Stoke.
Three caps, three wins, 21 goals for, two against. Perhaps he should have played more often.
