QPR v Albion - team news

Posted on: Mon 08 Mar 2010

JAMES Morrison makes his first start in almost 11 months as he steps up his comeback from a long-term heel injury.

Roberto Di Matteo makes four changes in total to the side that beat Derby 3-1 a week ago as he throws new loan signing Steven Reid straight in at right-back against the club where he spent November on loan

Youssouf Mulumbu and Simon Cox also return to the Baggies' starting XI and Ben Watson lines-up against his former team-mates on his away debut for Albion.

The men to drop to the bench are Abdoulaye Meite, Robert Koren and Graham Dorrans, who all played 90 minutes for their respective countries in midweek, and Luke Moore.

Albion are also buoyed by the return of Ishmael Miller among the substitutes following his 70-minute reserves run-out on Tuesday on his comeback from a month-long ankle injury.

New Hoops boss Neil Warnock also makes four changes to the side that lost 2-0 at Middlesbrough last Saturday in his first game in charge.

Matthew Connolly, Hogan Ephraim, Tamas Priskin and Adel Taarabt come in, with Peter Ramage, Akos Buzsaky and Antonio German relegated to the bench, and Lee Cook left out altogether.

Ex-Baggies loan signing Jay Simpson starts in attack for Rangers.
