Albion v Reading - team news

Posted on: Wed 24 Feb 2010

LUKE Moore is recalled to the starting XI as Roberto Di Matteo makes three changes - one enforced.

Abdoulaye Meite and Simon Cox also come in for the FA Cup fifth-round replay.

The men to make way are the cup-tied Frank Nouble, plus Jonas Olsson and Chris Brunt, who drop to the bench.

Albion are buoyed by the return among the substitutes of James Morrison, from a ten-month heel injury lay-off, and Marek Cech, who has been sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring problem.

New loan signing Ben Watson is also cup-tied while Jerome Thomas serves the final game of his five-match ban.

Brian McDermott makes three changes to the Royals side, with Zurab Khizanishvili, Brynjar Gunnarsson and Jem Karacan making way for Jay Tabb, skipper Ivar Ingimarrson and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

ALBION (4-5-1): Carson; Zuiverloon, Tamas, Meite, Mattock; Koren, Cox, Mulumbu, Dorrans, Moore; Bednar. Subs: Kiely (gk), Morrison, Cech, Slory, Olsson, Brunt, Wood.
