CHRIS Wood's wonder-strike in Albion's 3-1 home win over Doncaster in September - his first-ever senior goal - has made it into the Football League's top 20 and the running for Mitre Goal of the Year 2009.
Fans now have the chance to vote for their favourite strike, with the poll to whittle it down to the final five contenders closing at 5pm on Monday, February 15.
The overall winner will then be decided on the night at the 2010 Football League Awards, which take place at the prestigious Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, on Sunday, March 14, 2010.
Wood's Baggies team-mate Simon Cox has also made the short-list for his strike for Swindon against Walsall in January.
Each club was asked to submit their best goal and Sky Sports' Soccer AM show screened the 20 goals on Saturday.
