FILIPE Teixeira has today joined Coca-Cola Championship rivals Barnsley on a month's loan.

The Baggies midfielder's spell with the 14th-placed Tykes includes games against Preston, Watford, Middlesbrough, Plymouth, Scunthorpe, Cardiff and Blackpool.

Teixeira has been restricted to one start and eight substitute appearances in the league this term and was not on the bench for Saturday's 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
