ROBERTO Di Matteo has dangled the carrot of regular first-team football in front of Dean Kiely - and has every faith he will deliver the goods in Scott Carson's absence.
The Baggies boss also confirmed 17-year-old goalkeeper Ryan Allsop (pictured below), who has been a regular for the reserves over the last two seasons, will be on the bench for Monday's home clash with QPR (ko 7.45pm).
The former England Under-17s international has been drafted in as cover for Kiely during Carson's three-match suspension and will wear shirt No.39.
Albion's other senior keeper Luke Daniels has been on loan at Tranmere since the start of the season and cannot be recalled until January.
Di Matteo said: "We're all confident Deano will do a good job for us.
"He started off well with the penalty save when he came on Tuesday.
"Generally it's a view I have with all the players that if you do well you keep your place in the team.
"Ryan Allsop will be on the bench for us on Monday night because we cannot recall Luke as the transfer window is closed."

Di Matteo also confirmed Carson will be fined by the club for his red card in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat by Cardiff.
"We had a chat and he felt sorry for his actions and apologised to everyone," he added.
"He knows he did wrong and we'll move on from there.
"He'll be suspended for three games, which is bad enough for him and for us.
"He's going to be fined by the club.
"He reacted to Chopra's provocation.
"He followed through on the cross and he wound him up a little bit as well.
"It is unusual for Scott because he is a very composed person - it's not in his character really."
