SAIDO Berahino's brace sealed a 3-0 Albion win over Swansea in tonight's FA Youth Cup third-round clash at St Helen's Rugby and Cricket Ground.
The England Under-17s international notched in the 29th and 83rd minutes after Kayleden Brown broke the deadlock in the 20th minute.
Wales Under-19s forward Brown gave the Baggies an early advantage as he controlled Romaine Sawyers' pass and fired low into the net after a well-worked one-two with Sam Mantom.
Nine minutes later George Thorne, fresh from his first-team debut on Saturday, slipped Berahino in on goal and he doubled Albion's lead on the turn from eight yards.
At the other end Ryan Allsop was rarely tested in the visitors' goal and when Brown pulled the ball back Berahino added a third for the Baggies seven minutes from time with the aid of the post and a deflection off Joe Walsh.
Albion coach Keith Downing said: "It was a rain-swept opening half-hour but we set about our business from the start and created several chances.
"We were quite comfortable in the first-half and deserved our lead at the break.
"I was pleased with the approach and application of the lads on a difficult night.
"There were some good individual displays and it was a good team performance."
