IT will be open house at The Hawthorns on Sunday, July 5!
All Albion fans are invited to attend the club's FREE Interactive Open Day.
Supporters will get the chance to have a unique look behind the scenes, as staff prepare the stadium for the new season, and meet first-team squad members.
Events and activities for all the family will be staged at The Hawthorns and on the Tom Silk site, opposite the stadium, between 10am and 4pm.
And, it is the perfect time to pick up Albion's new 2009/10 home shirt, which goes on sale the day before, from the Stadium Megastore (To see the kit and get full sales details, click here).
The main attraction at the Open Day will be the 'Behind the Scenes Walkabout', which will take in parts of the East Stand and refurbished West Stand - including the home and away dressing rooms and players' tunnel - the pitch perimeter and technical areas.
First-team squad members will also be on site in the afternoon to meet fans, as will BaggieBird.
Academy coaches will stage training sessions with their young charges inside the club's impressive indoor training facility, which houses a full-size pitch, while Albion's disability teams will showcase their skills inside the Barclays Spaces 4 Sport Community Sports Hall.
The East Stand Ticket Office and Stadium Megastore will be open for the duration of the Interactive Open Day, with the latter selling 2009/10 merchandise.
There will also be plenty of other attractions on site, including an inflatable soccer skills obstacle course, a virtual video tour of the club's training ground featuring Sporting & Technical Director Dan Ashworth, a British Army climbing wall for fans to try, RSPB, RSPCA, YMCA, Guide Dogs for the Blind and British Legion charity information stalls, catering facilities and much more.
Operations Director Michelle Davies said: "We're really looking forward to giving supporters an insight into what goes on inside the stadium during the summer and a look around parts of the club's inner sanctum.
"This is the fans' chance to see first hand what's going on at their club.
"Supporters will be able to see how the seat replacement programme in the Birmingham Road and Smethwick ends is shaping up and how our pitch improvements are progressing.
"There will be plenty of activities going on for all ages so it should be a great family day out.
"Members of staff from all the club's departments will also be on hand to answer supporters' queries.
"Our Interactive Open Day goes hand in hand with the extensive work of our successful Community Programme, which interacts with supporters on a daily basis via outreach work and education and sports activities."
Further activities and attractions will be confirmed in the build up to the event.
The club will also release a full timetable of Interactive Open Day events, so stay tuned to www.wba.co.uk for further details.
