TONY Mowbray is keeping Scott Carson and Dean Kiely sweating until tomorrow over which of them will start in goal against Liverpool on Sunday (ko 1.30pm).

Carson is available for selection again after a hand injury ended his ever-present league record against Wigan last Saturday and saw Kiely produce an outstanding display against Wigan in his absence.

And Mowbray must now choose between the two goalkeepers for the Baggies' biggest game of the season.

"It is a tough decision with respect for both goalkeepers," he said.

"I haven't spoken to the players yet.

"But what I do see is them both training very hard alongside each other every day this week.

"And I'm pretty sure they're both waiting to see who will play.

"I'll let them both know tomorrow."

Tomorrow will also be D-day for injured duo Paul Robinson (ankle) and Marek Cech (hamstring) as they race against time to be fit to face the Reds.

If neither make it Mowbray will face a headache over who to play at left-back - a position Ryan Donk filled when Cech limped off against the Latics.

"Both Robinson and Cech are at this moment in the doubtful column," Mowbray added.

"We'll assess them both tomorrow and make a decision.

"If they're both fit I've got a decision to make between them.

"In the worst-case scenario where both of them are not fit then who knows who will play at left-back."

Robert Koren has recovered from the tight hamstring that saw him miss the last game but James Morrison (heel) has been ruled out.

Mowbray, however, has every faith in whoever he names in his starting XI.

"We had injuries last week and won 3-1" he said.

"We didn't have the goalkeeper who has played every game.

"The left-back who has played just about every game wasn't available.

"Koren, who has played just about every game, wasn't available.

"You get on with it, pick your team and send them out there."
