TONY Mowbray admits there is not much more he can do to convince key loan signings Marc-Antoine Fortuné, Juan Carlos Menseguez and Youssouf Mulumbu to stay with the Baggies next season.
The trio all joined the club in January from Nancy, San Lorezo and PSG respectively and have all played a part in keeping Albion's survival hopes alive.
Fortuné has been the star of the show, ploughing a lone furrow up front, and media reports suggest he is attracting interest from a number of other clubs.
But Mowbray hopes he has enjoyed his time at The Hawthorns enough to persuade him to stop.
"It seems as though everyone bar Real Madrid are trying to sign him at the moment," said Mowbray.
"On the football side of things there is nothing more we can do for him other than create an environment for him to enjoy his football and give him the confidence and belief he is a good player in our team and hope he wants to continue on that journey in whatever division we might be in.
"We've got to try and make him feel wanted and part of our squad - and I feel as if we do that.
"He's a good person, a good personality and a good man.
"I don't lose sleep over it.
"We would love for him to stay and enjoy the experience of working here and playing with the players we've got.
"Let's wait and see what the season's end brings."
On Menseguez and Mulumbu the Baggies boss added: "They're all on-going.
"Managers can talk to players but ultimately business only gets done when sporting directors or directors talk to their agents really.
"Let's wait and see whether things get finalised.
"All I can say is the players are going about their training in a difficult period with 100 per cent professionalism and seem to be enjoying the environment.
"We've got two games to go and we don't know if it's going to be an amazing end to the season or finish pretty flat at the weekend."
