LATEEF Elford-Alliyu came on as a 55th-minute substitute in England Under-17s' 4-0 European Championships defeat by hosts Germany in Jena.

The reverse follows the Young Lions' opening 1-1 draw with Holland three days ago.

England need a result against Turkey in their final Group B clash, in Gotha on Tuesday (4.45pm BST) as they look to secure a semi-final place.
