Dorrans in fitness race

Posted on: Fri 01 May 2009

GRAHAM Dorrans faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday's trip to Tottenham (ko 3pm).

The Baggies midfielder limped out of last weekend's 3-0 win over Sunderland in the 64th minute with what X-rays later revealed was a minor foot injury.

He has not trained since the Black Cats clash but Tony Mowbray is hoping he will join in tomorrow's first-team session.

On the flip side, the Albion boss has been forced to rule out James Morrison (heel) and Abdoulaye Meite (hamstring).

"Morrison and Meite won't be available for the weekend," said Mowbray.

"Graham Dorrans will be touch and go, we'll wait and see.

"He didn't train today but hopefully he might train tomorrow and we'll see if he makes it."
