High-five for Albion Under-18s

ALBION Under-18s returned to action with a bang after the Easter break by thrashing Huddersfield 5-0 in Saturday's FA Academy Premier League inter-group clash.

Joss Labadie fired the opener in the 32nd minute and Sam Mantom added a second in the 41st minute to give Michael Appleton's men a two-goal advantage a the break.

Romaine Sawyers continued the scoring in the 59th minute and Lateef Elford-Alliyu bagged a 15-minute double, with his second coming a minute from time.

The Baggies entertain Leeds in another inter-group fixture on Saturday (ko noon).

ALBION: Allsop; Grier, Gayle, Downing, Waghorn; Thorne, Labadie (Lovell 62), Mantom (Brown 62); Sawyers, Berahino, Elford-Alliyu. Subs not used: Carlin (gk), Knight, Samuels.
