ALBION have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of Saturday's derby trip to Villa (ko 12.45pm).
James Morrison (groin), Gianni Zuiverloon (knee) and Filipe Teixeira (calf) all came through full training today.
Tony Mowbray also delivered further good news by revealing Ishmael Miller's operation on his cruciate knee ligament injury yesterday was a success.
The Baggies boss must now wait until tomorrow to see if any of his previously injured trio suffer an adverse reaction before declaring them fit to face Martin O'Neill's high-fliers.
"Filipe did train today as did Morrison and Zuiverloon," said Mowbray.
"We trained at The Hawthorns, as opposed to the indoor pitch, so we had a bit of grass under our feet for the first time this week.
"We'll wait and see if the lads have any reaction tomorrow before we decide on their fitness.
"They haven't trained during the week because we've been indoors.
"When you're carrying knocks, strains and pulls, it's not ideal to be pounding a hard surface.
"We'll wait and see."
Abdoulaye Meite remains sidelined with the hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-0 defeat at Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Miller, meanwhile, is now looking forward to starting his rehabilitation.
"Ishmael had his operation yesterday and it went well," Mowbray added.
"We won't set targets for him but hopefully things will go smoothly.
"He's pretty positive at the moment because the surgeon told him it went exceptionally well.
"We look forward to him starting his rehab soon."
