Baker seals Kiddy switch
LEE Baker has today made a permanent switch to Kidderminster Harriers on a free transfer.
The left-back's loan spell with Albion's Blue Square Premier neighbours came to an end on Sunday after joining them in August and he has now penned an 18-month deal at Aggborough.
He has made 27 appearances for Mark Yates' men this term and has helped them climb up to fourth in the table.
Baker, who celebrates his 20th birthday in 12 days' time, earned his first professional contract in July 2007 but just a week later was ruled out for the season after suffering an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in training.
The Baggies handed the Redditch-born defender, who came through the Hawthorns youth ranks, a further year's contract in October 2007 to boost his recovery.
Albion sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth said: "We'd like to wish Lee all the best.
"He has been at the club for more than ten years, is a great character and has been a pleasure to work with.
"His commitment while at The Hawthorns has been unstinting.
"He's had a successful loan spell at Aggborough and we feel this is an ideal move for him at this stage of his career."
Baker was a reserve-team regular for Albion but never made a first-team appearance for the club.
