JOSS Labadie has today joined League Two high-fliers Shrewsbury Town on an initial 28-day loan.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed his first professional contract in July, has made three reserves appearances for the Baggies this term.
His spell with the Shrews will include games against Bradford, Chester, Port Vale, Darlington and Barnet.
Albion sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth said: "Joss is one of our improving young players.
"We feel we need to get him out on loan to gain experience and Shrewsbury is the ideal club for him.
"We like the way Paul Simpson has looked after Luke Daniels and know Joss will be in good hands."
Daniels' loan spell at the Prostar Stadium has been extended until the end of January, with a view to him staying until the end of the season.
The Baggies keeper has kept seven clean-sheets in 18 appearances for Town since joining them in August.
