TONY Mowbray is expecting Albion to face a stern test from set-pieces in tomorrow's derby with Villa (ko noon).

But the Baggies boss is refusing to make it his main concern against Martin O'Neill's in-form side.

Villa moved up to fourth in the Barclays Premier League table on Monday thanks to a 2-1 win at Tottenham.

But, encouragingly, their one defeat this term came against a newly-promoted side, when Mamady Sidibe's last-minute strike earned Stoke a 3-2 win at the Britannia Stadium last month.

"It's a huge test for us," said Mowbray.

"The likes of Curtis Davies, Martin Laursen and John Carew are exceptionally talented individuals at attacking the ball.

"But I don't sit here and concern myself about that.

"I think about how the game will pan out, where I think we may be able to give them problems, and where I know they will be dangerous and we will need to block up certain areas of the pitch.

"I don't worry too much about set-plays because you can do all the preparation in the world on set-plays.

"Then, on matchday, someone jumps a bit higher than someone else or gets the run on them and it all goes out the window.

"You do your preparation on it and you let people know their jobs and they have to go out and do it."

At least the Baggies boss will be able to call on the height of new centre-halves Jonas Olsson and Ryan Donk, who both stand at 6ft4in, if needed.

"Sometimes a 5ft4in central-midfield player can't beat a 6ft4in centre-half who comes steaming over the top of him," Mowbray added.

"That's football.

"If you haven't got someone with the physicality to match them then you do the best you can.

"It's all about building a team so when you buy a centre-half you make sure you buy a 6ft4in one to cope with the opposition."

Carew (ankle), Davies and Ashley Young (both knee) missed Thursday's 3-1 UEFA Cup win over Litex Lovech but Villa say they should all be fit for Sunday's game.
