Boss scoops top LMA award
TONY Mowbray last night scooped yet another award after his peers voted him the Football League Managers' Championship Manager of the Year.
The Baggies boss guided his side to the title and back to the Premier League in his first full season at The Hawthorns to erase memories of last season's play-off final defeat.
His Albion side also finished as 88-goal top scorers in all four English divisions.
Mowbray was presented with the prize by England coach Fabio Capello in Nottingham.
Sir Alex Ferguson won the League Managers' Association Premier League Manager of the Year award after leading Manchester United to a tenth Premier League crown and guiding them to the first all-English Champions League final on May 21.
Swansea manager Roberto Martinez won the League One honour and Graham Turner lifted the League Two award after taking Hereford to automatic promotion.
