ALBION'S players will pay tribute to injured team-mate Filipe Teixeira on Sunday when they warm-up before the QPR game (ko 2pm) sporting T-shirts bearing his name and No.20.

The Portuguese ace's season was cruelly cut short after he suffered cruciate knee ligament damage in March's 3-0 win over Plymouth.

Paul Robinson is the brains behind the T-shirts idea and it was he who raced up to one of Sky's TV cameras after Chris Brunt's promotion-clinching strike against Southampton and shouted: 'That's for you Filipe.'

"It was a massive blow losing Filipe," said Robbo.

"At the time we didn't think it was that serious.

"We thought he'd just twisted his knee but then we found out it was his cruciate.

"He was playing some of his best football for us and we had to try and deal with that.

"Luckily for us we've got great quality in the squad to replace him.

"We've missed him a lot and hopefully we can lift the trophy for him on Sunday."
