Poker ace wins £500

HOT-SHOT poker player and Oldham fan bubbsoafc took the £500 first prize in the second PartyPoker.com football Freeroll tournament.

Bristol City fan cannybluff came second (winning £300) and Sheffield Wednesday supporter DoctorOwl finished third (£200).

All three are now in a strong position to be one of six qualifiers for the Sports Stars Challenge III poker tournament that will be shown on Sky Sports next February where they'll battle it out in a special televised heat, the winner will scoop a whopping £6,000.

There are just two more chances to qualify for Sports Stars Challenge III by playing in the £1,000 PartyPoker.com football Freerolls so make sure you put Thursday, December 27th and Thursday, January 31st in your diary.
