BARTOSZ Slusarski has joined Championship rivals Blackpool on loan until January 1.

The Polish international striker goes straight into Simon Grayson's squad for Saturday's trip to Southampton.

He is also eligible to play in the Seasiders' games against Norwich, QPR, Scunthorpe, Preston, Cardiff, Stoke, Coventry, Sheffield United, Colchester and Burnley.

But the Baggies have the right to recall the 25-year-old hitman after 28 days.

Slusarski penned a two-year-deal, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, in the summer.

But he has yet to make an impact on the first team since his arrival from Polish top-flight outfit Groclin Dyskobolia due to the form of Kevin Phillips, Ishmael Miller, Craig Beattie and Roman Bednar.

The £680,000 signing has been restricted to a six-minute substitute appearance in last month's 3-2 defeat at Colchester but has smashed six goals in nine games for Albion reserves.
