A YOUNG Albion reserves side battled out a goalless draw at Huddersfield Town in their Pontin's Holidays League Division One (Central) clash.
Academy forwards Josh Knight and Sebastien Lake-Gaskin both made their second-string league starts.
But neither team could find a way through as a much-changed Baggies side failed to score for the first time in nine games.
Reserves boss Craig Shakespeare said: "Neither side created any clear-cut chances and much of the action was confined to midfield.
"We probably shaded it on chances, especially in the second-half when Josh, who impressed me, and Seb had good shots saved by their keeper.
"Unfortunately, we lacked the quality with our final ball on crosses and passes.
"It was nice to keep a second successive clean-sheet."
