Morrison strike earns draw

STEFFAN Morrison fired his third goal in two games to earn Albion Under-18s a point in a 1-1 draw at Blackburn in the FA Premier Academy League (Group C) on Saturday.

ALBION: Allsopp, Hurst, Hancox, Labadie, Mason, Pike, Nichols, Lake-Gaskin, Morrison, Alliyu (Knight 70), Siead (Compton 65). Subs not used: Lloyd-Weston (gk), Bruce.

Women

Goals from Hayley Moore, Jess Lippiatt and Hayley Phillipowsky saw Albion ladies draw 3-3 at Coventry in the Midland Combination Main League in midweek.

And Chris Holloway's side followed that up by beating Loughborough Students 3-1 on Sunday to make it five games unbeaten.

Phillipowsky again got on the scoresheet, with Laura McQuilkin and Abbie Hinton also on the mark.
