BARTOSZ Slusarski grabbed his first goals in English football as Craig Shakespeare's side went one better than the first team in this Pontin's League Cup clash.
After Sunday's euphoric 5-1 Championship win over QPR, the goals continued to flow at Hinckley United tonight.
Joss Labadie opened the scoring on 13 with a 30-yard cracker before the impressive Sherjill MacDonald made it 2-0 on the half-hour mark by racing onto a throughball and slotting home.
Albion took complete control by netting twice in first-half stoppage time.
Shelton Martis headed home Jared Hodgkiss' cross and then Polish international Slusarski opened his account by capitalising on a mix-up in the City defence.
It took Michael Nardiello just three minutes after the restart to put the visitors 5-0 up.
And the Foxes' night got even worse in the 58th minute when Adda Djeziri was red-carded for violent conduct after confronting Bostjan Cesar.
Moments later, Slusarski raced through to make it 6-0 before Ricky Sappleton grabbed a Leicester consolation nine minutes from time.
Summer-signing Slusarski got a vital 90 minutes under his belt after returning from an ankle/heel injury as he helped Shakespeare's side avenge last Monday's 3-0 league defeat at Leicester.
"We had a good mixture of youth and senior players on show and it was a very professional performance," said Shakespeare.
"To a man, everyone applied themselves.
"It was a pleasing night's work.
"They couldn't handle Sherjill's directness and pace and we could have scored more by half-time.
"We went there with a young side last week.
"They played a young side this week - and we punished them.
"We also created numerous chances in the second-half and ran out comfortable winners.
"It was good to see Bartosz get off the mark.
"Scoring twice and getting 90 minutes under his belt will have done his confidence the world of good."
The only dampener on the evening were injuries to keeper Luke Steele, who was subbed at half-time after suffering a knock to his side, and Labadie, who went off early in the second-half with a sore groin.
Pele was withdrawn at half-time as planned with Wednesday's Championship date against Stoke in mind.
Young pro Jack Compton enjoyed his first 45 minutes since undergoing knee surgery in July as a second-half sub.
