Albion v QPR - team news

Posted on: Mon 01 Oct 2007

KEVIN Phillips makes his first start in three games as he partners Ishmael Miller in attack.

The return of the four-goal striker is one of seven changes Tony Mowbray has made to the team that lost 4-2 to Cardiff in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Carl Hoefkens, Leon Barnett, Paul Robinson, Jonathan Greening, Robert Koren and Filipe Teixeira are the others to be restored to the starting XI.

Craig Beattie, Chris Brunt and Pele are relegated to the bench, while Jared Hodgkiss, Shelton Martis and Tininho are dropped altogether.

James Morrison keeps his place as he is handed his first start in three league games.

John Gregory makes three changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Watford last weekend.

Ben Sahar, Stefan Moore and Zesh Rehman return to the Rangers starting XI, while Sam Timoska is relegated to the dugout, Mikele Leigertwood is suspended and Danny Nardiello is not included.

ALBION (4-4-2): Kiely; Hoefkens, Barnett, Albrechtsen, Robinson; Koren, Morrison, Greening, Teixeira; Miller, Phillips. Subs: Steele (gk), Beattie, Gera, Pele, Brunt.
