IN our second new www.wba.co.uk feature for the 2009/10 season we will be asking the players, coaching staff and former players what has inspired them in their lives and in football.
We'll be getting up close and personal with Roberto Di Matteo's men every Thursday in 'My Inspirations'.
This week we chat to midfield dynamo James Morrison.
Q1. Which teacher?
JM: Miss Still at Hummersknott School in Darlington. She was the head of my house, which was Trinity, and an English teacher. She looked after me. I was a bit of a teacher's pet.
Q2. Which song?
JM: I like anything really, I haven't got one song I find particularly inspirational.
Q3. Which person outside of football as a teenager?
JM: My granddad, George. He always looked after me, and used to give me a pound for every goal I scored. I started scoring too many goals and he stopped!
Q4. Which coach as a youth team player?
JM: Dave Parnaby at Middlesbrough. Under him we got to the final of the FA Youth Cup twice, winning one year. He was strict on all of us, which was a good thing. He kept us on the straight and narrow.
Q5. Which film?
JM: I like my films. I'd have to go with 'Man on Fire'. I just like the film it's one of my favourites.

Q6. Which manager?
JM: My youth team manager, Mark Proctor. It's because of him I am where am I.
Q7. Which book?
JM: I don't read too much but I read Gazza's autobiography and I enjoyed that. It was funny, told the truth and had stories about his life.
Q8. Which famous person?
JM: Eric Cantona. He was a good player and I looked up to him.
Q9. Which team-mate in your career?
JM: George Boateng from Middlesbrough. He was an experienced pro and helped me settle into the first team. We are still in touch every now and then.
Q10. Which sportsperson outside of football?
JM: Tiger Woods. I like golf and no-one has achieved what he has in the sport.
