MONTHS don't come much better than the last one!
We had three great results and three good performances against Leicester, Bristol City and my old club Sheffield Wednesday - and we scored plenty of goals as well.
Conceding in two of the games was a bit disappointing - but you can't really argue with nine out of nine points.
We're creating a lot of chances and probably should have scored more goals at the Foxes.
The defence has also been great and Scotty hasn't had a lot to do.
They have given us the basis to play in the attacking way we have.
It's nice personally to get a couple of goals and stay clear of injury.
Getting back in the training routine always helps and I've felt reasonably good over the last few weeks.
I've had no further problems with my calf and I just need to keep looking after it, especially now we're getting into the colder weather.
Hopefully we'll avoid injuries as much as possible during the busy Christmas schedule.
By taking 16-year-ols George Thorne and Saido Berahino to Sheffield last weekend it showed we're a little bit light on bodies.
We don't have a massive squad but we've got a good quality squad.

Of course, George and 'Sawdust', as we call Saido, had to sing for us after dinner in the hotel on Friday night as their new-player initiation.
They were a rubbish double-act.
George carried him and Saido let him down!
But Gonzalo surprised everyone when it was his turn.
He sang a song in Spanish and was really good.
We might see him on the X-factor in Birmingham next year!
The gaffer used to have to do this at Chelsea when he was a player and he's just continuing the ritual at Albion.
I'm just glad I don't have to do it!
There has also been plenty of banter flying about the dressing room over the World Cup.
It shows we've got a good quality squad to have five players in it who have helped their countries qualify for South Africa 2010.
It's a great achievement, especially for a Championship club.
Abou, Gonzo and Marek knew they were going straight after the groups finished.
Roko had to go through the play-offs and Slovenia did really well.
They were in Northern Ireland's group and, although I missed both games against Slovenia, I knew they were a good side and very good at home.
Getting the late goal away in Russia helped them and I fancied them to go through after that.
For such a young lad it's a great experience for Woodsy.
People can play their whole careers, play 100 internationals, and never get the chance to go to a major tournament.
Woodsy is only 17 and is going to a World Cup with New Zealand.
It will be a great experience for him and can only make him a better player.
The World Cup is a massive bonus for all of them at the end of what is hopefully a successful season with West Brom.
To win promotion with West Brom and go to a World Cup would be an ideal season for anyone.
As if we're not cosmopolitan enough at The Hawthorns, we had a Canadian striker join us for training last month.
Marcus Haber from Vancouver Whitecaps spent four days with us and did reasonably well.
He's a big lad!
It's hard to tell from just training - but he didn't look out of place.
He probably noticed a big step up coming from a Canadian side to a second-tier English team.
We'll see what happens.

It was also nice to see a familiar face return to the training ground.
James Morrison has had a frustrating time of it being forced to rest up due to his heel problem.
And I know he's glad to be back around the boys even if there were about 50 pictures of him and his look-a-likes - Merekats and Turtles - stuck up on the walls to greet him.
Banter with the lads is the sort of thing he has missed though.
It's nice for him ahead of all the hard work he faces to get fit again.
