YOU'LL all be glad to hear I won't be fit for Sunday's game against Liverpool!
Well, we do seem to be winning without me in the side.
Seriously, my heel injury is really frustrating me now and I will be touch and go for the last game of the season at Blackburn as well.
It's horrible to be stuck in the gym while the lads are on a good run and we're still in their fighting, with a chance of getting out of trouble.
It's a shame I couldn't be part of Saturday's 3-1 win over Wigan.
The squad looks now as if it's capable of holding its own in the Premier League.
If we win and stay up it will be fantastic and everything is in place here for the club to move onwards and upwards.
Hopefully we can stay up and see what happens.
Loan signings Juan Carlos and Youssouf have come into the side recently and done well.
They're playing for contracts really and it's up to them to keep doing what they've been doing.
Deano put in a great display against the Latics.
It must have been difficult for Dean this season because he was No.1 before Scott came in.
He's a good keeper and he proved it again by showing top form when he was called upon.
The gaffer has got a headache now as to who to play between the sticks and it's going to be interesting to see what he does.
Deano's been performing like that in training all season, so it's no surprise he did it on Saturday - credit to him.
It was also great for Marco to bag two goals as reward for all the hard work he does on his own up front.
I wasn't at the game but I heard about Marco's little jig with Youssouf and Gianni when he celebrated his second goal.
I don't know what it was all about but, as long as he keeps scoring, he can keep dancing all he wants.
It's a massive game for us against the Reds.
We've struggled against the top-four teams this season and haven't picked up a point against them.
Hopefully we can put that right and put a good performance on.
I know the fans will be behind us.
Boro beat Liverpool 2-0 at the Riverside in February and if they can do it there is no reason we can't.
We're on a roll now after winning two successive games at home and, with our fans behind us, I think we'll be a tough team to beat at The Hawthorns.
I always thought it would be a tight finish to the season and it is credit to the league that it's so tight.
Hopefully, things will go our way results-wise on Saturday and the good thing about playing on Sunday is that we will know exactly what we need to do against Liverpool to stay in with a shout of staying up.
Hopefully Manchester United will get the points they need to win the league against Wigan tonight and Arsenal on Saturday and put the title beyond Liverpool so they have less to play for at The Hawthorns.
But, whatever happens we know we will face a mountain in the form of Liverpool.
That becomes even more apparent when you see the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year, Steven Gerrard, in their midfield.
You have to credit him for the season he's had.
He fully deserves the award - but hopefully he can have a bad game against us for once and we can beat them.
I was pleased to be picking up a few awards of my own on Sunday night at the supporters' club presentation dinner.
I collected a few branch awards for player of the season and it shows the fans have appreciated the hard work you've put in.
I'm delighted and I'm happy to win goal of the season as well with my header against West Ham.
We don't score too many with our heads!
