I COULDN'T be at the game on Saturday - but I got a pretty good report on events at White Hart Lane from a certain Jonathan Woodgate.
Like Harry Redknapp my pal Woody, who I know from my time together at Middlesbrough, was very complimentary about our performance and he was relieved to get away with all three points in a 1-0 win because he felt we probably deserved a draw.
It makes it even more frustrating when the opposition thinks we deserved something.
My heel injury is also frustrating me at the moment as progress is so slow.
I can only do gym work, which is a bit of a grind, and wait for it to heal.
A comeback this season is looking unlikely.
The club podiatrist said it may be another week before I can train again.
That would mean I will miss the Liverpool game and then that only leaves the Blackburn game and I won't have trained for three or four weeks by then.
So, it's looking unlikely - but I won't rule anything out.
That's a bit like our season really.
We're still six points adrift of safety with three games remaining.
But results went our way over the weekend.
And we need a bit more luck, which we haven't had much of this season.
A win against Wigan on Saturday could put us in a good position going into the last two games.
When we played at the JJB Stadium in November it was probably one our best performances of the season.
We ended up losing 2-1 after leading and didn't get anything from the game, so we do owe them one.
After beating Sunderland 3-0 like we did last time out at home, there is no reason why we can't beat the Latics.
I'm sure the fans will be right behind us as usual.
And it's nice to see them still in good humour as they've shown by their decision to wear Tony Mowbray masks at the Blackburn game as a tribute to the manager.
It's great the fans are still right behind us even though things haven't gone our way this term.
They obviously appreciate how much of a good job he has done and enjoy the style of football he gets us playing.
It's a big boost for the gaffer.
The prospect of seeing thousands of Tony Mowbray faces might scare one or two of the lads though!
It will be quite funny to see and hopefully I'll be there playing at Ewood Park.
Before I sign off for the week, I must congratulate Chris Wood on his call-up to the New Zealand squad for the Confederations Cup.
It's brilliant for Chris, especially as he's so young.
It's an honour for anyone to play for their country.
He was training with the boys again this morning.
It's great what he's achieved in recent months - and good luck to him.
We need these young players coming through and the future looks bright at The Hawthorns.
