Sporting Club Albion results round-up (18)

SPORTING Club Albion girls Under-16s thrashed Wednesfield 10-0 in the League Cup thanks to an Emma Morgan hat-trick, Ellie Gibbs and Harley Simpson doubles and Hannah Tromans, Raegan Roper and Jade Sinclair strikes.

SCA girls Under-14s also made it through to the next round of the League Cup after beating Warriors 4-1 courtesy of Chelsey Dixon, Carly Aldred, Shannon Parkes and Leanne Westwood goals.

Laura Gray's double hat-trick, a Laura Avery brace and Jordan O'Coy, Ashleigh Westwood and Kate Wright strikes saw SCA girls Under-12s beat Leamington Hibernian 11-0.

SCA girls Under-Tens beat Solihull 14-0 as Nikkita Lal smashed seven goals, Brodie Vincze and Kelly Shirley notched doubles, and Rosie Hargreaves, Lauren Price and Sara Carter scored.

SCA ladies team lost their Birmingham County Cup quarter-final 2-1 to Wolves (pictured) on Sunday, with Hayley Phillipowsky grabbing a consolation goal.

SCA ladies reserves beat TNS 4-0 in a friendly, with Channelle Hooper bagging a brace and Natasha Baptiste and Sammi Ryder scoring.

SCA basketball Under-16s suffered a narrow 58-51 defeat at Coventry Crusaders.

On Saturday Lizzie Tullett scored the only goal as SCA powerchair 'A' football team beat Celtic Storm 1-0. Chris Gordon scored in a 1-1 draw with Aspire 2.

The following day SCA beat Nottingham 1-0 and Aspire 1-0, with both goals coming from Daniel Kay.

SCA powerchair 'B' team beat Celtic Storm 1-0 as Amy Wharton scored from the spot, before losing to Gillingham 5-0, and Valance 3-0 and 8-0.

Dan Cheshire fired a hat-trick as SCA pan disability seniors beat Sutton 3-0. They then drew 2-2 with Villa thanks to Steven Hull and Leon Cheshire goals.

Corey Hope netted a consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat by Kewford before SCA lost 2-0 and 3-0 to Warwickshire and Phoenix respectively.
