Sporting Club Albion results round-up (17)

SPORTING Club Albion's (SCA) blind team have moved up to second in the league after their weekend fixtures.

A Simon Hill goal was enough to beat Everton 1-0, and goalless draws against RNC and Middlesex saw SCA move within five points of leaders Worcester, who they lost to 1-0, with four games remaining.

SCA Pan Disability Junior team beat Villa 1-0, Stratford 3-2 and lost 3-0 to Coventry City and 4-1 to Kingshurst, with Ross Taylor scoring all five Baggies goals.

SCA basketball Under-16s lost 71-81 to Walsall Warriors.

SCA wheelchair basketball team suffered a narrow 33-34 defeat by Wolves Rhinos.

SCA ladies reserves thrashed Loughborough 5-1 in a friendly on their travels.

SCA girls' Under-12s beat Leamington 5-1 thanks to Aaliyah Hay, Jordan O'Coy, Ashleigh Westwood, Laura Gray and Shannon Hall strikes.

SCA girls' Under-tens thrashed Solihull 10-0 courtesy of a Sara Carter hat-trick, Rosie Hargreaves and Nikkita Lal doubles, and Shannon Stamps, Lauren Price and Kelly Shirley goals.
