Calling all budding keepers - UPDATE

Posted on: Wed 29 Jul 2009

BUDDING shot-stoppers can brush up on their gloves skills at The Albion Foundation's goalkeeping development centres.

Academy goalkeeping coach Mark Naylor runs the six-week courses at the club's indoor training facility, on the Tom Silk site, Halfords Lane, West Bromwich.

A development centre for 12-16 year olds is staged on Mondays, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, and a session for seven-11 year olds is held on Wednesdays, from 5.15pm to 6.15pm.

Each six-week course costs £42.50, which includes a free goalkeeping gift.

To sign up, call 0871 271 9840.

The goalkeeping development centres are supported by Wilkinson Keepers Direct (www.wilkinsonkeepersdirect.com), of Implex House, Barton Street, West Bromwich, which supplies gloves for the club's Academy and offers discounts to youngsters who attend the sessions.
