THE new Albion Golf Society teed off in style as its inaugural event was held at Ombersley Golf Course, Worcestershire.

With The Belfry's Peter McGovern and former Baggies striker Joe Mayo in attendance, members enjoyed a great day's golf followed by an enjoyable and sociable afternoon.

The winner of the first event with 40 Stableford points was Sandwell Academy PE teacher Alex Masson, with Mayo taking the 'nearest the pin' prize!
