Clarke makes one enforced change to his starting XI

JEROME Thomas is handed his first start in six games as he replaces the injured Graham Dorrans in midfield.

The winger is the only change to the side that beat Swansea 2-1 last weekend.

Shane Long has shaken off an ankle injury in time and starts on the bench.

Steven Reid misses his second successive game with a groin problem.

Tony Pulis makes one change to the Potters team that lost 1-0 at Newcastle last weekend.

Matthew Etherington returns from injury in place of Andy Wilkinson, who is dropped to the bench.
