WEST Bromwich Albion Supporters’ Club (WBASC) have around 70 tickets available for the Frank Skinner: Three Degrees Cooler show at Birmingham Town Hall on Wednesday, July 24 (start 8pm).

The one-off charity evening is being staged to help raise funds for The Celebration statue, which honours the careers of Albion’s three pioneering black footballers Cyrille Regis MBE, Brendon Batson MBE and Laurie Cunningham.

Skinner will be joined on stage by Regis and Batson, in addition to fellow Hawthorns stars Ron Atkinson, Tony ‘Bomber’ Brown, Gary Owen, Alistair Robertson, Derek Statham and John Wile.

Tickets cost £40 and anyone interested should call WBASC secretary Alan Clevereley on 0121 551 6439.

The statue is planned to be unveiled on July 14, 2014 – the 25th anniversary of Laurie’s death in a car crash in Spain.
