PEPE Mel is sweating on the fitness of Claudio Yacob (hamstring), Chris Brunt and Steven Reid (both knee) ahead of next Saturday’s trip to Swansea (ko 3pm).
The trio were all forced off in a bruising 25-minute spell during today’s 3-0 defeat by Manchester United.
The Baggies boss insists it is too early to assess the full extent of their injuries.
But, with Billy Jones (hamstring) and Diego Lugano (knee) forced to miss the United clash, it adds to his headache.
“We won’t know about the full of extent of the injuries until tomorrow,” said Mel.
“I’m just focused on working tomorrow and putting all my energy into making sure West Brom win at Swansea.
“And tomorrow it is important we carry out tests on Jones, Reid, Yacob and Brunt to see how many players we have available for Swansea.”
