Interesting facts

Albion have not beaten United in 12 Barclays Premier League meetings, losing ten and drawing two - both stalemates came at Old Trafford.

The Baggies last beat United in the League Cup in December 2003, when Bernt Haas and Scott Dobie goals secured a 2-0 win at The Hawthorns.

Wayne Rooney has scored five goals in his last five games against Albion but has been ruled out of this game with a knee injury.

Albion (23) have conceded five fewer goals than the Red Devils (28) this term, with only Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Stoke and West Ham able to boast a better overall defensive record.

The Baggies have scored four or more goals against United on 12 different occasions, while the Red Devils have netted four against Albion 11 times.
