Interesting facts

Roberto Mancini’s side have lost only one home fixture this season - a 3-2 defeat by champions Manchester United back in December.

The Baggies have already recorded their highest-ever points total (48) in the Barclays Premier League and their most wins in the top flight since 1984/85.

Claudio Yacob played with Sergio Aguero for Argentina when they won the FIFA World Under-20 World Cup in 2007, in Canada.

Albion will be hoping to claim their 50th league triumph over the Citizens.

Shane Long has scored in his last two games – but has never netted in three successive Premier League fixtures.

Ref watch

Phil Dowd will referee tonight's game. The Staffordshire official last oversaw Albion in December’s goalless draw with West Ham at The Hawthorns. He has dished out 121 yellow and five red cards in 35 games this season.
