CRAIG Dawson’s eight-game unbeaten run at Bolton came to a grinding halt in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Ipswich.

The 22-year-old has helped propel Wanderers up to eighth place in the nPower Championship – contributing four goals during his nine-game stay.

But Carlos Edwards’ 88th-minute strike ensured the central defender tasted defeat for the first time during his spell at the Reebok Stadium.

Gonzalo Jara Reyes helped promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest secure a 2-1 win at Hull.

Yassine El Ghanassy played 87 minutes of Heerenveen’s 3-1 triumph at NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Bradley Garmston did not miss a minute of Colchester's 2-1 win at bottom-of-the-league Bury in League One

Cameron Gayle was substituted in the 56th minute as Shrewsbury drew 1-1 at Crewe.

And Donervorn Daniels did not feature in Tranmere’s 3-0 defeat at MK Dons.
