The Albion Foundation has formed a partnership with Futsal UK to offer 16 to 18 year olds a two-year scholarship.
One of the Football Association's key football development strategies, futsal is a variant of traditional football and is generally played indoors on a hard surface.
The scholarship includes up to eight hours per week of futsal coaching over two years, with successful students earning a BTEC Level three, which is equivalent to three A-Levels.
The course is recognised by leading football authorities, including FIFA and the FA and is a pathway to universities, where futsal is booming.
We are looking for male and female candidates, who are looking to further their education and play in the National FLT Futsal League, where they will represent West Bromwich Albion.
The Albion Foundation will be hosting an open evening at Birmingham International Futsal Arena on Monday, July 9 from 6pm.
Anyone interested in futsal and living in the Midlands can contact Ikhlaq Hussain on 07584 066849 or register online at www.futsaluk.net.
