Foster: We have enough

Stopper remains upbeat ahead of Chelsea game

BEN Foster is confident his Albion team-mates have what it takes to stave off relegation from the Barclays Premier League this season.

Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace saw the Baggies slip to 18th in the table ahead of tomorrow night's clash with league-leaders Chelsea (ko 8pm).

And the England international keeper believes one victory is all it takes to turn the club's fortunes around.

“We know we can play well and we did that in the second half on Saturday and against Liverpool last week so we need to take that forward into the next 13 games," said Foster.

“It will be a boost if we can get that win.

“It would be the first win since Newcastle a few weeks ago so we do need to get back to winning ways and once we do I’m sure we will steamroller and get a few more.

“Everybody is always professional.

"We always prepare well and the boys do the right things on the training ground and I know that’s what we’re doing.

“We're just not getting the results that we have sometimes deserved.

“As long as we can play like we did second half on Saturday and against Liverpool in the game before that we will be absolutely fine.

“The second half was a lot better and we created chances and the tempo was a lot better.

“That’s what we need to take into Tuesday.

“It’s a funny league and if you can string a couple of wins together you can be right up the table.

“If we’d won on Saturday we could have been 10th or 11th.

“It would be quite nice to be 11th.

"I know we’d only be a point or two above the dropzone but it would be more of a boost than being 18th."
